Mediation in conflictual situations

Médiation en entreprise

Mediation is one of a number of solutions in conflictual situations. It allows all parties – with the help of a neutral observer – to find solutions to their conflict.

We offer solutions in conflicts involving two or more parties.

Advantages of mediation

  • Mediation looks towards the future and seeks solutions, not culprits
  • Mediation reinforces self-affirmation and the need for the parties involved to assume responsibility
  • Mediation helps the organization to evolve thanks to feedback from the parties involved to the client.

Objectives

  • To restore dialogue
  • To reinforce the conflict management skills of the parties involved
  • To recognize risk factors in the business
  • To outline solutions that respect the needs of each party.

Content

  • Recognizing each party’s background
  • Clarifying differences and reinforcing points in common
  • Clarifying interests and needs
  • Developing solutions
  • Finding agreement
  • Organizing feedback to staff and the client
  • Providing feedback to the business.

Methods

  • Individual interviews with the parties involved if necessary. The objectives of these interviews should be clearly defined.
  • Meetings bringing together the mediator and the parties involved.
  • Involvement if necessary of other individuals who are relevant to the process.
